Who We Are

James Hare MS, LPC, CADC-III

Founder & Therapist

James Hare, MS, LPC, MAC, CADC-III, is the owner and founder of Therapeutic Solutions NW, a private counseling practice in Eugene, Oregon, established in 2024. He works with adults on the lasting effects of childhood developmental trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders. James holds that the patterns that bring people to therapy often began as adaptive strategies for coping and survival, and that meaningful change becomes possible when those patterns are approached with understanding rather than judgment.

James practices an integrative, trauma-informed model that draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and somatic approaches. Rather than applying a single modality to every client, he tailors treatment to each person’s goals, history, and readiness, adjusting the approach as therapy progresses. His clinical focus grew out of work in non-profit settings serving marginalized and underserved populations, where he saw firsthand how early trauma shapes people’s lives. He earned his master’s degree in Relational Therapy from the University of Oregon in 2019 and completed EMDR Basic Training in 2022. James offers in-person sessions at his Eugene office as well as telehealth. If you’re ready to take the next step, he welcomes the chance to connect.

Quentin Rauschenbusch-Rowan MS, LPC, CADC-III

Therapist

I believe therapy is a place where we can begin telling ourselves the truth with greater compassion. Many of the ways we struggle today began as ways of adapting to difficult experiences, relationships, or circumstances. My work focuses on helping people understand these patterns, develop greater self-compassion, and find more freedom in how they live. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins when we feel genuinely seen and understood.

Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, or simply a feeling of being stuck or “off,” our work will be guided by the belief that your psyche contains the raw material for transformation.

I work with adults and adolescents in an atmosphere of collaboration, curiosity, and respect. I tailor each treatment plan to reflect your unique needs and story, drawing on an integrated approach that includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, and mindfulness-based practices. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and began my career in substance use disorder treatment. I spent five years working closely with individuals facing the complex interplay of addiction and trauma. That foundation continues to inform my work today. Outside of the office, I value time with my wife and our dogs, reading detective novels, and painting. I know from experience that connection, play, and solitude are not luxuries—they’re essential to healing and resilience, for clients and therapists alike. If you’re considering therapy, I honor the courage it takes to begin. I’d be privileged to join you on this path of inquiry, healing, and renewal.
